Mary Wardrop, MD

Mary is an emergency medicine physician and an outdoor enthusiast.  Shes spend her free time enjoying the Colorado sunshine living in Steamboat Springs, CO.  Mary joined to TeamEMS to motivate physicians and other providers to return to the activities and outdoor lifestyle they gave up during medical training.  This year Mary will be competing in Cody's Challenge, a ski randonee race at Steamboat Resort.  Mary has been an avid skier her entire life, but this competition will be her first ski event.  She entered the race with the goal of regaining a fitness level she lost in medical school and residency training and improving her touring skills for backcountry ski adventures.  When the ski season ends Mary will be spending her free time rafting, backpacking and riding horses, with maybe a running race in the mix.
